Slightly removed from the main streets, this bar, which is decorated with items “from the past” of the owner, Jan, is an expat and Thai media-type favorite. Even non-regulars will want to move right in, since the bartenders greet everybody like they’re part of the family. The drinks are often original creations. A current offering: the “Quitting-Time Thrasher,” with cucumber, mint, and a healthy amount of vodka.
