Franck is celebrating the fifth anniversary of his bistro on Ferguson Lane this year. It’s as though he’s finally managed to satisfy a longing for a piece of France in far-away Shanghai. The restaurant emphasizes tradition and features plain, no-frills French cooking. Next door, at Le Petit Franck, guests enjoy a cocktail at the bar and imagine themselves to be sitting in a friendly, neighborhood pub in Paris. And to top it all off, Franck opened his Farine bakery just five doors down.
