The Walk is to Dubai what South Beach is to Miami. The promenade, which is more than a mile long, invites you to take a stroll past the innumerable restaurants, juice bars, ice-cream parlors, and hip boutiques. A large part of the beach is open to the public and is equipped with modern restroom facilities. Go for a jog and when you get hungry sit in one of the restaurants with sea views; children are amazed by the handmade sand sculptures and tourists enjoy taking the obligatory photo with a camel.
