Spread across two floors, this enormous bookshop is filled to the brim with beloved second-hand page-turners. You’ll find the books piled on tables, in the ceiling-high bookshelves, or stacked next to the armchairs and sofas throughout the store. There’s also space dedicated to local artists and innovative installations, such as the bookshelf tunnel. Regular readings and literary events take place at the new Downtown LA location.
