After his first restaurant “Bullerei,” Tim Mälzer has opened his second venture. At the solid underground bar with wooden tables and bookshelves, you can find a walk-in wine storage also known as the playroom—a private area decorated with whimsical cartoon characters. In the afternoon, “munchies” are on the menu: chicken wings with spicy sauce, risotto, or salad, for example. The multiple-course menu changes each month in the plush, red salon Madam X. The rustic outer area is a cozy retreat.
