Lucius is the opposite of a stylized designer restaurant. The conventional Dutch/French bistro-style atmosphere is enjoying a hip rebirth thanks to the popular retro trend. The kitchen features fresh, traditional cuisine with tried-and-true dishes such as fish soup and a mixed fish platter. The chef has even added Dutch herring with raw onions to the menu. The fish is served with Dutch corn schnapps—just the thing for cool guys.
