La Gioia
188 bis, rue de Rivoli
Sober decor and design thought out by Jean Roch, “Tulip” chairs by Eero Saarinen and Keith Haring and Basquiat on the walls to name but a few: welcome to the Gioia, the last of the prominent Parisian restaurants, straight out of Saint-Tropez. It’s hard to believe that this cotton-soft atmosphere contains the dance floor for the adjoining VIP Room, over which plunges an immense, panoramic glass roof. Already a regular, Karl Lagerfeld himself has put together and added to the menu a salad bearing his name.
