The Hyatt opened its doors in March 2014 on the island of Chongming Dao, near Shanghai. Reachable within 90 minutes by car from the city center, the island is a paradise for families, couples, and, above all, for nature lovers and cyclists. Marshlands rife with birds, national parks, and organic farms surround the comfortable hotel which boasts 235 rooms and suites. And because dogs also enjoy the surroundings, 25 rooms were specially designed to accommodate four-legged guests.
