This inviting hotel is an oasis in the heart of the bustling old city. Built in the 19th century as a mansion and located close to the cathedral, it has a long history of lodging travelers. In addition to the tastefully furnished modern rooms and suites, some of which are two story, the hotel houses a highly recommended restaurant—Senyor Parellada. The name hearkens back to Barcelona’s oldest culinary family who continues to run the restaurant today. Senyor Parellada is known for its traditional Catalan cuisine.
