The charming Victorian Royal Arcade just off Old Bond Street is a gorgeous place to visit. Nestled in its heart is an equally beautiful bespoke shoemaker. For over 50 years G.J.Cleverley & Co have been handcrafting divine bespoke and ready-to-wear leather shoes for their discerning clientele. To ensure the shoes they create are as high-quality as those sold half a century ago, the shop’s staff go through a three-to-five-year apprenticeship. A gorgeous little find.
