The Brooklyn Botanical Garden, founded in 1910, provides a lush escape from the hectic pace of the city. This 52-acre park located in the Crown Heights area of Brooklyn features over 200 cherry trees, a Japanese garden with a shinto shrine and a pond full of koi fish, and a rose garden with 1,400 types of roses, both cultivated and wild.
