The Hürlimann family brewed beer for five generations right where the boutique hotel with urbane designed rooms is now located. Thanks to the industrial architecture, the rooms are large and bright. In the library, oversize candle holders made out of bottles play on the building’s brewery past. The thermal pool is a highlight: Basins made of larch wood, filled with mineral water, are located in the vaulted cellar – and on the roof of the former brewpub, you can bathe all year long with a view of the Alps.
